Old Cairo Grill

The Old Cairo Grill in the Walmart shopping center was shuttered for failure to pay rent according to the notices on the front door. Anyone know of any good kebob places nearby or if the Old Cairo Grill is going to reopen somewhere else?

I recently spoke with the owner -- he has no plans to reopen anywhere.

You can't park in there. Everyone thinks being in the Wal-Mart center is great, customers all over the place -- but that center has tight parking. Notice that Villa Bella, WAY on the other side, with its own little parking area for that strip, is still around.

Too bad it is gone the food was pretty good. That parking lot always sucks and you can never find a spot in bad weather!

Cedar Cafe in Rolling Valley Mall or Village Chicken over in West Springfield are the only ones I know of that sell anything like that. OCG seemed to be more authentic, though the prices were pretty meh.

Umm...The Best Kabob Places in NoVa are Flame Kabob,Moby Dick house of Kabobs & Cedar Cafe..

Did the property owners deliberately make the spaces narrow in the parking lot?

I always get new dings on my car doors whenever I park and shop there.
