Helicopter on Cherry Run field

I was very concerned last night around 10. There was a helicopter hovering around and eventually landed on the field of cherry run elementary school! All of us concerned residents were trying to figure out what was going on! Does anybody know what happened?

We were eating dinner late (around 7ish) Friday night. We heard him circling for a bit and thought it was a life flight. I saw it take off after a brief landing. Still no idea wh oit was or why. Nothing on the fire and rescue channels.

Would like to know what this was and why it landed on our neighborhood school's soccer field!

It was because a Park policeman had been taken to the hospital that lived in the neighborhood while he was on duty trying to save someone who had plunged from the Key bridge in the water he had a heart attack, their family was rushed to his side by helicopter. Unfortunately he was able to make it and has passed on. He lived off of Waterline Dr. There is an officer posted outside the house for the next month 24/7 in case the family needs anything. They didn't know where to land at, so they were circling for some time, finally using the field at Cherry Run.
