It's in the Burke Towne Center, sandwiched between a 7-11 and a chicken joint. That is all.

Yes it is. That area isn't the same place it was 5, 10 or even 20 years ago. I remember when it was affluent and sort of snobbish. All those housewives dressed up to go to Giant. Now there is more and more welfare/subsidized people taking up the condos and townhomes along Burke Commons, Oak Leather near Lake Barton and elsewhere. Get behind a school bus at 3:45 PM, and you will see mostly black kids getting off at the stops. Last month the Shell was robbed at gunpoint (http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/police/news-releases/2013/050913robburke.htm)

Blame Wal-Mart? Gerry Connolly? Before anyone knows it, it will be the new Silver Spring.
