Massive amount of police @ Olde Lantern Way

I was in Olde Lantern Way today, near Sydenstricker and Hooes, and I saw literally thirteen police cars and then a handful of normal officers, as well as a few with kevlar vests and assault rifles. What the hell is all that about? Was it a raid?
