Accotink Lake

Are there any fish in Accotink lake? They drained the lake a few months back, so does that mean all the fish are dead? Is fishing in the lake any good?

I can recall a lot of eels that we would always catch in the late 1970's

Yes there are fish there. They restock it regularly.

Its mostly sunnies. They swam up the creek when the lake was drained. They will be spawning in the shallows pretty soon.
