Who Knew Laurence Einuis? Arrested Thursday for soliciting a minor

The West Springfield band director Laurence Einuis was arrested Thursday at WSHS and charged with use of communications systems to facilitate certain offenses involving children.

While I know there are other threads about this story, I was more interested in what the Springfield community has to say.

Can any current WSHS band students or alumni tell us more about him? Do you think he was capable of doing this? I sure hope not...

Sorry, I don't know him. However, I did learn from a friend of mine that
there might be something the Springfield community could do to help the band students still at West Springfield.

The West Springfield band program is having a fundraiser (which was scheduled long before their director was arrested) at the Ledo's Pizza in Springfield Wednesday night (June 11th) from 5 PM- 9 PM. The band receives 20% of your total order in donations from Ledo's Pizza. It can be dine in or take out. All you have to do is mentioned your order is for the West Springfield Band Program.

This might be a small and anonymous way that we could show our support to the students at the high school. Please consider making this your Wednesday dinner plans to do just a little good for our hurting community.

I bet he beats the rap, and then sues FCPS for twenty million dollars. Then he can have his own private kiddie band, and not have to deal with the PTA, the school district, OR Boosterthon.

BTW, have they ever figured out how many kids he buggered? And was it just boys, or girls too?

Mr. Einus is still sitting in the adult detention center.
The Prosecutor is wanting to bail him to the wall.

No trial yet.

Food is limited; Einus has lost tons of weight.


Anyone know the trial date?
