Lots of sirens around commerce and backlick

Hey guys, starting at about 8, I've heard an absurd number of emergency vehicles going down backlick near lynbrook elementary heading toward commerce. Anyone have any idea whats up?

About 11 PM on 2/27.2014 I drove Northbound on Backlick Rd and found it blocked at Commerce St. by the Fairfax County Police. Several Fire Trucks, Ambulances, and Police cars were presents at the seen. I even noticed a couple of Black unmarked SUV's with blue lights flashing. There was a large police presents at the seen. Didn't see any smoke or fire but did notice that one of the fire truck's was hooked up to the fire hydrant. WTOP reported at ~11:08 PM during their traffic report that Backlick Rd. was closed at Commerce St. due to an apartment fire. I have yet to hear any news about an Apartment fire in Springfield for last night.

I saw a helicopter circling around the area around very low looking for someone, they had closed the street down also. I drove by the next day and on the sidewalk next to the metro stop some people have created a shrine their for a deceased... I don't think it was fire related at all.
