Anyone in Springfield - Burke - Fairfax Station up for a history book club?

What about a small group of people who love history to read in depth and discuss several times a month. Rotating moderator proposes study guide questions. First meeting in a coffee bar then rotating in members homes.

People arrive prepared. Casual atmosphere among people unafraid of intellectual rigor. I'm not a professional historian you needn't be.

I lean away from the "official version" because intellectual honesty requires telling the truth about what happened.

Howard Zinn, A People's History of the United States. First meeting as soon as
members step forward.
