Guitar stores in Springfield

Does anyone remember Veneman music and Guitar Haven in springfield? What happened to the guitar scene here? All that is left is Music and "subsidized-by-school-music-programs" Farts.

Mars Music came in, drove Veneman's Music out of buisness. Then Mars went under. Veneman was the best guitar shop in the area, next to Chuck Levins in MD. The staff had an attitude, but their prices were decent and they had access to high end gear.

Oh man, Music and Farts! Has anyone else ever noticed the sexually ambiguous, milquetoast d-bags that work there? None of them over 5'5". I want to kick all of their weak, flabby bassoon blowing asses.

Veneman's had a fire that gutted the Springfield Store right after Mars moved into Springfield Plaza.
