Much to my disappointment I drove by Moorenko's the other night only to find out that it has closed and has been replaced by something called SweetLeaf. Does anyone know what happened? I loved that ice cream place!

The owner hired untrustworthy people who were taking from the till. It's kind of hard to stay afloat when the people you pay to run shit...are robbing you blind!

FWIW, I ate at this Sweet Leaf place today. Imagine typical "gourmet salad & sandwich/fancy coffee" fare. A welcoming atmosphere, but I wasn't really impressed with the sandwich I ordered. The bread was really good, in fact, it was the best part of the sandwich. I'll probably go back at some point and try something else, but my first impression wasn't a good one.

i knew some of the kids that worked there. they were terrible, and always stealing money from the cash register. good job manager for being responsible of hiring good people....
