Don't forget the mosque across from Merrifield Gardens. And the yuppy grocer on the corner of Gallows and Lee.

Merrifield is gone. We got nothing but Muddifield now.

Topic: Merrifield Town Center and A Major Urban Center
Fairfax

Conversation: I have seen dramatic changes at Merrifield recently compared to when I was a Volunteer Community TV producer at Fairfax Public Access Station, FPA (fcac.org) located in that neighborhood.

With Target across from Home Depot, and all the expensive townhouses and other stores, all the greenspace are now gone in this area.

Anyone for a "Urban Greenspace" for all of those people clustered together between shopping malls and high dense development at Merrifield ?

Across the street is Home Depot Store the largest in Northern Virginia. You can find stuff here that are not available elsewhere.

The expensive Condos and Townhouses for upper middle class are all in now. Must be selling pretty well ? (Hey realtors any updates on this topic)

Now how about "greenspace" & some housing for us low income people at Merrifield Town Center Neighborhood.
