Big Bad Bobby’s Nemesis Dee Parsons is in the News!

My buddy, Dee Parsons, who has written two blistering pieces covering Bob Malm’s misconduct and the resulting coverup by the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia, is garnering front-page coverage on The Washington Post. The preliminary piece appears at https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/magazine/wp/2019/06/03/feature/the-crusading-bloggers-exposing-sexual-assault-in-protestant-churches/
As the story mentions, Dee got her start when an alleged pedophile was discovered at her former SBC church. Since then, she has covered numerous cases, including the Jules Woodson case.
I’d add that Dee also has a niche market; she is one of the few bloggers to give equal air time to spiritual abuse. That’s huge, because in a day and age when the church is consumed by sex, my belief is that the majority of abuse is spiritual, not sexual. Indeed, while hard statistics are not available, an article I published anonymously on shunning in The Episcopal Church, published in Episcopal Cafe, garnered dozens and dozens of comments, all sharing experiences of being shunned by clergy.

But but but no mention of your target of hate. This was the big WAPO expose you pontificate about. You should go visit your forever dying mommy, she needs some hot air for her COPD. Bob Malm is such a loser that he didn’t even go see his mother when she was dying of cancer. He says it was because he was in a halo brace, but that doesn’t cut it:
1. If Bob had half the common sense God gave a goat, he would have lit hazardous areas like the stairs so he could see where the f^^^ he was going.
2. Patients in a halo brace can travel by car, train, air, ambulance, custom patient transport, and more.
I think the real issue is that, being the loser he is, Bob didn’t have the money to go. $200K a year, and you-know-who had to guarantee the cost of installing the rails on Bob’s outside stairs. This, from a guy who gets sued in court for unpaid bills, and gets his kids sued for unpaid dentist bills.
