DATELINE SUGARLAND — Amidst the growing protests arising from the remarks of the mother of a male Notre Dame student, who suggested that women who wear leggings were being unduly suggestive, Fr. Bob Malm showed solidarity for countless men, women, and non-gender binaries across the nation by wearing his own meggings to church last Sunday.
“It’s important that we show support for all our parishioners,” said Malm. “Plus, as the official Clydesdale of the Boston Marathon for the last 20 years, I felt I could play a special role in the debate. No matter what your shape or size, it’s your right to wear what you want in public!”
Said acclaimed bodybuilder Mike Smith, “More power to him....I don’t know if I could wear those to church. Still, he’s got some Gucci legs.”
Bishop Susan Goff was unavailable for comment.
