A merger with St. Clements would make sense in light of the financial challenges facing both churches. But Grace’s love of Bright Shiny Things (BST), and St. Clement’s social justice focus, would make for a tough mix.

Just imagine what the good ladies of Grace Church would say if someone proposed having homeless people sleeping in the nave, as happens at St. Clements. Jesus would be all for it, but that would be about it ;-)

We welcome black people. In fact, out of 1200 members, five — count them, 5 — are black.
