As members of Grace Church consider their pledges for 2019, as well as Bob Malm’s whining about how he is the victim of a smear campaign, it may be worth revisiting his “settlement proposal.” Although Bob is not accused of sexual misconduct, it is perhaps telling that, like many Catholic abuse settlement agreements, Bob wanted a confidentiality agreement as part of things.

That begs the question: If Bob’s conduct has been above-board, why would he want confidentiality? Wouldn’t he want the details to be public?

Eric. I'm sorry. This just isn't cutting it. Your legions of followers come here for new content. Not re-runs. We've seen this episode before. More than once, at that.

I think it may be time to ask yourself-what are you trying to accomplish here? Are you controlling the interest, or is the interest controlling you?
