Fr. Bob Malm Calls on People to Be Courageous, Send Money
Fr. Bob Malm, rector of Grace Episcopal and head of the “Jesus is Truth” Center, called upon Christians the world over to send money. Soon. Like right now.
“Every day, I see people give sacrificially,” Malm said. “Some remember the church in their wills. Others forego vacations to support our ministry. Some even give up golf.”
“Not only do we need to get the AC back on, but continuing our ministry and outreach at their current levels requires greater giving, and more pledging units,” Malm added. “After all, there are numerous people out there, terminally ill, whom we need to drag into court, so we can demonstrate the love of Jesus in our lives. At this time. In this place.”
Malm also noted that greens fees are going up next year at golf courses throughout Northern Virginia. “Plus, we are looking for ways to increase funding for the Jeffery Chiow Ethics in Law program,” Malm noted.
“Like I said, send money. I’ll be on vacation, but if you need me, call my cell phone,” Malm added.
