Proposed changes to Lee Hwy/Washington Street between Marshall Street and Annandale Road

The nasty little city wants to destroy traffic flow on one of the most travelled roads in the area. They are proposing to add several new traffic lights and to remove the "free right" turn from eastbound Lee Hwy to Hillwood to make room for some BS bike rack or some such nonsense.
If you travel this area by car you are about to get screwed by the shittiest city in Virginia. Please come to the public hearing and see their plan. It is openly hostile toward vehicular traffic. I went to a community meeting last summer about this, and the objective is clear, screw cars over so they won't drive through the city. I hate falls church.

The City of Falls Church invites you to attend a public meeting on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM to learn about the planned intermodal transit plaza at the corner of South Washington Street and Hillwood Avenue and other transportation improvements on South Washington Street. There will also be an opportunity for you to provide input on the design of the plaza.
The meeting will be held at 400 South Maple Avenue, Suite 400, Falls Church, Virginia 22046 (The Tax Analysts Building).

And what about the miserable Little City's intersection of Hillwood and Annandale. They have striped eastbound Hillwood's left lane for left turns only. Problem is no one every turns left there. Why would they turn onto Hillwood from Lee Highway/Washington Street only to turn back towards Lee Highway at the first light? The right lane is striped for right turns and thru traffic. This way, any car going straight through holds up all the right turns. Anything they can think of to screw over traffic. Would love to meet the turd brain who thinks these things up.
