Letter from DMV has to be signed for.. missed it today - license suspended?

I got a speeding ticket almost two months ago, and i paid it one day late over the phone. I called back later, and they confirmed the payment. NOW, I just got a notice saying i have to pick up a letter from the DMV from the US postal service.

WHAT THE HELL FAIRFAX COUNTY?

Is this probably a suspended license? if so, how do i get it unsesupended? By paying the ridiculous fine?

Why don't you wait until you get the letter and read what it says and then let FFU know so that somebody can answer your questions? Seriously never pay a speeding ticket too close to the deadline as chances are you will get screwed up by FX Cty. But to answer your question, it sounds like to me DMV has something to say to you about your license. Good luck.
