Allright, just got off of 495 northbound at Braddock rd, traffic is at a stand still despite no accidents mentioned, and no real traffic above little river turnpike. So any ideas why traffic is barely moving?

Yeah i saw that on WTOP as well, but no explanation for the traffic on 495 standing still, or crawling by. The traffic cam in the area is also "currently unavailable" Which is kind of obnoxious.

Its called an honest question dumbfuck. When normal avenues of attaining information are exhausted, and one turns to the alternatives and finds them unoperative one unavailable, that quantifies a frustrated feeling. Especially when one is actually trying to see if a traffic pattern has changed, or some construction has changed commute times.

Ha ha! Whenever someone says something negative about the piss poor quality of life in NoVA, there's always one ignorant asshole that makes sure to tell the offending party to leave town if they don't like it. Yeah, NoVA is pure heaven...lol

Well, that's what I did! I now live in Beaverton, OR. Stunning place, friendly people (practically all caucasian), no crime, no traffic and an awesome city with a great nightlife just down the road.

I've lived in a lot of places including Fairfax for the past 10 years. I got to tell you, this area has a lot of great places to see, things to do and a solid economy thanks to the government. However, compared to a lot of other places, it really is shitty.
