VOTER IQ LAW IN FAIRFAX

Can we get a petition going to pass a Voter IQ Law passed in Fairfax?

This might keep the GOP from winning any election.

Anything less than a Mensa IQ and you don't get to vote. Perfect. Can we do the same thing for the folks running for office? I think the Government would shut down completely.

In this area, it would probably hurt Democrats more because the GOP voters in Fairfax are probably pretty well educated. If you did it in rural parts of the state, it would probably hurt the GOP more. By the same token, if you did a voter IQ test in inner city Richmond, Hampton, or Petersburg, the Democrats would never win another state wide election. Both sides have idiots. The difference is that the Democrats, with the help of the media, are successful in portraying the entire GOP as backwoods rednecks. If ever there was an insinuation that the core of the Democrats was made up of inner city welfare recipients, that would not be a generally accepted talking point.

OP is just stupid enough to fall for the narrative without thinking for him/herself. Most partisans, on both sides, fall into that trap. By basically claiming that all GOP supporters in this area are morons, OP is pointing out his own gullible stupidity.

I'd like to admit into evidence Todd Akins and the entire trailer park of Tea Party idiots. The IQ test would most certainly help the Democrats.

Again, not in Fairfax which is what the OP is contendeing. Todd Aikin doesn't live in Fairfax and cannot vote in Fairfax. You want some evidence of the stupidity on your side:

All hyperpartisans are braindead sheep. You are the prime example of that.

A lot of metropolitan buses these days are powered with natural gas.

If you are undecided then you are a waste of a human being.

FYI: Steelman was the Tea Party candidate--not Akin.

The Tea Party is driven by fiscal issues--not social ones-- as most DEMS would have you think.

Which is a commodity that is drilled for. You aren't too bright, are you? And "a lot" does not mean all. Ever drive behind one of the Loudoud or Prince William buses? Are those natural gas? Are you contending that there is no oil used in the production of the bus?

> If you are undecided then you are a waste of a

You are quickly helping me make up my mind. Am I a waste because I actually take the time to examine each candidate and weigh the strengths and deficiencies of each one? Or, am I a waste because I don't blindly and stupidly subscribe to one party's lies and distortions?

If you want to see a waste of a human being, look in the mirror. You are someone that can't think for himself. That is sad. Given your regurgitation of stale talking points in this thread, I sincerely doubt you would be able to pass the poll test you are proposing.

I love blind partisanship!!! That alone should exclude you from being able to vote.
"blah, blah, blah...wish there were an IQ test to vote...blah, blah, blah...democrats would win...blah, blah, blah".

We're honestly fucked either way. Estados Unidos is circling the drain. It's not gonna make a whole lot of difference who is elected, but goddamn am I tired Of this man and his family insulting our intelligence. Unfortunately, I will vote for a Mormon over an asshole.

I know. It's just because I'm racist.

I would say that was more true originally than it is now. As the Tea Party Movement started gaining strength it tended to incorporate many social conservatives who felt that the "traditional Republican party" was no longer holding true to its roots.

Is this what qualifies as high brow liberal humor?

Take a seat, slappy, you just got the hook....

For a factual assessment of which party has more idiot voters, it is usually the heavily Democrat precincts that have trouble voting and demand that the polls stay open longer, or they are those Democratic geniuses in West Palm and Dade that couldn't figure out the difference between Pat Buchanon and Al Gore. Al Gore probably could have won FL and the elction, but core Democrat voters were too stupid to understand the ballot. I bet you are that stupid as well.

Is your welfare check coming this Friday or next?

Nice response. Just like every other liberal, you can't stand the facts. Don't blame me for the fact that idiot Democrats (like you) couldn't figure out how to properly cast a ballot for Al Gore. When you rely on the stupidity of voters, which has been the MO of Democrats for years, you are going to have to expect that those stupid people (like you) will screw up from time to time and blow the election for you.

For shit's and giggles, name one innaccurate statement in my previous post. Eh, I'll give you the fact that you might not be on welfare, but you know you aren't anywhere near intelligent.

Who would you vote for to represent Fairfax at the state and federal level???

The Republican Party has officially endorsed its backing for Arizona-style state immigration laws, adding into its platform language that such laws should be "encouraged, not attacked" and calling for the federal government to drop its lawsuits against the laws.

That language and other provisions were widely approved by the party after being introduced by the co-author of the Arizona law, Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach (R).

"I was pleased at how overwhelming the majorities were, it was a voice vote and I think there were maybe 80 percent supporting it," Kobach told The Hill shortly after the hard-line immigration language was added to the party's official platform. "The Republican Platform is now very strongly opposed to illegal immigration."

The official party position now reads that"State efforts to reduce illegal immigration must be encouraged, not attacked," and says the Department of Justice should immediately drop its lawsuits against controversial state immigration laws in Arizona, Alabama, South Carolina and Utah.

There is hope Fairfax.

Check out this Republican genius on immigration.

If you want to stop Republicans from voting its easy. Just make the poll hours during the day only when they are at work. With dems it doesnt matter, they usually vote around 2pm when they get up from sleeping all day.

You can't follow simple directions. You were asked to provide a single inaccurate statement I made. You went to a stale regurgitated talking point. Are all Dems as dumb as you?

Oh, and we all can't create the Internet like Al Gore. LOL.

If a voter IQ law were enacted, nobody would get elected.

Moot point, as the incumbents aren't doing much anyway, well, unless you count screwing things up.

Didn't the Democrats try this back in the late 19th century in the South, to hurt Republican candidates?
