Yes. The Upper Occoquan Service Authority has a project going on in the Big Rocky Run Stream Valley. There is a gravity sewer pipeline that follows the river and they are doing relining.

http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/parks/press/html/pr061-12.htm

With any luck they will be done with the project by the end of the week. I understand the work was necessary but:
a) residents were given no notice of the work being done
b) they are running trucks and equipment 24/7
c) supposedly they were to be using "quiet" pumps on the bypass lines - HA! They have some incredibly loud pumps running within 150 yards of peoples houses
d) they are making a royal mess of the trails, trees, common areas and road. It will be interesting to see if they clean things up when they leave the scene.

Is this project by any chance related to sewer lines I saw being installed on the Prince William County side across from Bull Run Regional Park.
I'm guessing if it is sewer lines Prince William wants to stick tons of new housing along Bull Run. I'm assuming that P.W. doesn't give a shit, i.e. Fountainhead, about Northern Virginia Regional Rarks since they don't belong.

@Lost Paradise

Yes, this is the same project. It extends out 66 west to the rest stop at the Prince William County line. Equipment and pipe is staged in the field behind the rest stop.

They've been running all night again.
