FCPS needs to lower salaries for teachers:

You guys are morons. The first thing that should be cut is salaries. The joke about poor teachers is a joke. It is not ridiculous that a single teacher, hell two married teachers can buy a single family house in this county. If anything you need to lower salaries. All of your complaints about FCPS, You never even consider the fact that the only people who can teach in this county are wives married to poor men who teach for fun, and young professionals who have no second jobs such as bartending or waiting tables just to pay the non existent rent.
More often than not in this County after a young teacher has taught for a few years and is finally getting outstanding at their job they move on to something else. Why? Because life costs freedom!!!!!!! You can live and make it in FCPS on a teacher salary!!!!!

Actually, I agree with not raising their salaries.
No reason to lower them, but to give more just because... WHy?
I have known more than a few teachers for FCPS and some couples who were each employed by FCPS. None lived in poverty. Most had new cars every few years, lived indoors and ate regularly... In fact, the two couples that come immediately to mind, lived far better than MOST others in the nearby area. FCPS pays well and gives summers off.
More money, give me a break.
