Blasting Music Ticket

This racist African American cop gave me a ticket today. I route 28 in a traffic light. The cop rolled down his window and asked me to turn down the music. The light turn green and I kept listening to my music, about 3 miles later the cop pulled me over and gave me a ticket for blasting my music. I know is not a DMV ticket but should I fight it at court? my court date is 9-4-2012

I would look up what the ordinance is for playing music on Route 28 first, before you decide to fight it. Where on Route 28 was this?

Hire a lawyer and fight it. The cops will issue you a ticket for this, because very few of them can catch "real" criminals. Hey FCPD, have you caught the horse slasher? How about all those rapists? How much do you wanna bet their all Hispanic.

Actually, the truth of the matter is... unless he took a decibel reading, fight the ticket and you win. Just be sure to say NOT GUILTY in court; anything else gets you a Guilty.
What is the actual VA law code written on your ticket? also a 9/4 court date? Man that's pretty far out...I suspect this cop is generally a little too liberal with his ticketing.

You may want to get one of these and start loosening up
before your court date. It'll make your time less
painful 'in the end'.
