Popes Head Road police and fire
Posted by: neighbor ()

What happened on Popes Head Road between Lewisham and Ofaly? First, I saw this teen age girl running frantically down Lewisham at 10:15 P.M. with a flash light toward Popes Head. I returned about 10 minutes later and there are police and resuce squads all over Popes Head, blocking the lane and there are a bunch of teenagers standing around. I cannot tell if it is a crash or what. What happened?

The way I see it, that was the wild card of all the possible responses you could've gotten. The two most likely would've been how since you live off of Pope Heads, you therefore suck because you just HAVE to a light at the Parkway, fucking over all us plebs at rush hour. Option two being a scolding for not using one of the many free scanners available for the Fairfax residents.

My Take: Wrong topic, By the way, the light at Popes Head Road is NOT going away so get over it and move on!

What is sad is you went and posted the event here instead of helping the girl you saw running and in distress. I guess you would know what happened if you helped. Just sayin'.

just sayin: Your are confused. She was just running through the neighborhood which is not unusual because there are a lot of teens in the neighborhood. I only noticed her because she had a flashlight. I had no idea what she was doing and where she was going. I assumed she was going to another neighborhood home. The crash or whatever it was was not apparent until AFTER I returned about 10-15 minutes later when I saw the rescue, police, lights, etc. I had no idea of any distress or anything else.

You said "running frantically" so you knew something was wrong, you wrote it yourself.

The OP is really the Crosspointe Creeper checking out new neighborhoods and new little kids to look at...Or you're just a lazy, complacent Popes Head neighbor who should rot in Hell.

The light at Pope's Head needs to go. Write your county supervisor and VDOT! I am writing again.
