I like laughing at him, but I concur w/the banning

Part of me doesn't want him banned, then we'd have to go back to reading Radiophile's retarded updates and Rose Hill's trailer trash threads, but part of me does want him banned just for the fuck of it.

I thought he was only allowed to post in Off-Topic. At the very least, that should be the only place he is allowed to post. And he really needs to stop posting other people's personal info. I'm surprised Cary has let this go, but then again, Cary does have a life outside of FXU. Maybe he has just been busy and is unaware of what 2con is posting. Just my 2 cents:)

He's only posting in off-topic, easily ignored if you want, just don't click into the thread. If everyone stopped replying to his posts he would eventually go away, or no one would care about his posts.

There's a better reason for banning 2concerned, which is not answered by the argument that we should just stop reading his posts. 2concerned's irrational obsession with posting on this site has returned to its previous epic levels. From June 17, shortly after he returned from his previous ban, through 3:00 this afternoon, 2concerned posted on this site 747 times. That's an average of one post every 20 minutes through all hours of the day and night. In the 15 hours since midnight this morning he has authored 67 posts, which is an average of one every 13 minutes. Clearly 2concerned is hopelessly obsessed, but the harm here is not limited to him. His clumsy efforts to "out" various individuals have continued unabated. They have been aimed not only at neighbors and forum members who have tried to help him, but also have extended to others whose only apparent connection is the misfortune of coming up on one of 2concerned's bizarre Google searches.

Continuing to supply 2concerned with this forum is like a bartender continuing to supply drinks to an alcoholic. Both actions harm the individual involved by facilitating an unhealthy addiction. Both actions also put innocent members of the public at risk. Just like the alcoholic can always go to another bar, 2concerned could always carry his act to a different forum. But at least he wouldn't be able to continue his reckless sideshow here.

I've read these, and think there are many valid arguments, but this could be his only lifeline really. That's sad, but could be the reality of the situation. Its not an easy decision for the administrator of this site to make, especially with regards to free speech, although it seems that Scott's posts are very much in the libel and slander category in my humble opinion.

However, with that being said, lawyers or whoever else wants to go after him in civil court if that's the case, pardon the pun, will have plenty of information. Now its up to him, to do what's best for his family, and if this is the only outlet, that is sad, but I hope that he gets some professional help, and therefore helps his family.

Normally I would say not to ban.. There are many asshats n this forum and they are basically harmless. 2c has obvious mental issues and is not in control. He is vengeful and could possibly harm himself or others. He continues to try to out people and out his neighbors. I don't believe we should allow him to use FFU to pursue those purposes. FFU has always been a flamer site and that is fine. But to help the mentally deficient to ruin his own families lives is reprehensible. He is attacking neighbors and the police too. The false concern expressed by Pull the plug is complete and transparent bullshit, masking the poster's true desire to have 2Concerned banned in the cloak of sympathy, and mixing in false hysteria about what 2Concerned *might* do.
