i got a speeeding ticket today getting out of lake braddock high school today. my 18th birthday was April 30th so I dont need to tell my parents i got a ticket right i can just pay it

you will get points on your license as well as a letter home telling you your license will be suspended if you do do not attend D.I.C (driver improvement clinic) tell your parents. pay the ticket/court costs or just walk from now on.

Not true. Although you will get points on your license for any moving violation, you receive letters from the DMV about the D.I.C. if you amass more than 12 points in 6 months or 24 in a year. If you don't do the class, then they suspend your license.
