Failing two part knowledge exam when renewing license.

I recently went to the DMV to renew my license, and had to take the two-part knowledge exam, which I failed (missed one road sign) and I was told that I can come back in 24 hours to take it again. The reason I had to take it was because was convicted of speeding 0-9 mph.

Does anyone know if I need to apply for a driver's license again?

If you don't have a current drivers license and you want to drive a car then you need to apply and take the test again. Nothing hard to understand about that.

Well, then you'd better get an actual drivers license before then or you'll end up without one at all in a couple of weeks.

What are you even saying? If you have nothing productive to say, don't post at all.

I thought I was answering your question. What the fuck do you think I'm saying. Go to the DMV and pass the fucking test and get a drivers license. What's so hard to understand about that?

Having this conversation with you I'm starting to understand why you failed the test in the first place.

I have stated in my first post that I am RENEWING my license, and that I currently hold a fucking driver's license. Quite honestly, your pathetic level of reading comprehension is a testament to the state of public education in this country.

If they told you to take the test then obviously you don't hold a valid license. Yeesh!

My understanding is that a license is good until it either is expired or is revoked. It appears from the OP's posts that his license has not yet expired, nor has it been revoked. He therefore should be able to continue to drive until his license expires at the end of the month. Now he does need to get his butt in gear and learn all the stuff on that test, because if he doesn't pass the exam soon, come July 1 he will be without a license.
