Fighter Jet over Springfield?

I thought I heard it about 9:30 this morning.

Is that common around here? Maybe for training?

I heard them a couple of times in the A.M. last week as well. Probably running exercises.

Very common, all hours of the day and night. Welcome to NoVa. Military bases all over, training flights etc all the time. No big deal, you'll get used to it.
