Was thinking about memories from my childhood today. Over the years places change, some for the better. Some places though will always hold good memories for me, I am sure alot of you. Anyone else Remember STORY BOOK LAND???.... THE OLD BEACON MALL ... THE DRIVE IN ...DIXIE PIG ..PEAQUIN FEATHER ... I have more but let's see who else might remember some old places or memories...

Also I remember hanging out Fri or Sat Nights at Springfield Mall In the Food Court Smoking Marlboro's listening to the Hair Bands ...LOL ...

Anyone has a great story or memory let's hear it!!!!!

I remember staying the hell away from the Friday game when TC Williams was the visitor. They were thugs then, too. But we were all just overreacting redneck racists according to the movie "Remember the Titans".

But what I liked were the Fairfax County cops who would stop us on Telegraph Rd. for driving drunk and then just tell us to drive directly home slowly. If they caught you again that night, then you were in big trouble.

Friday games against T.C.? Hell, at LB I remember SATURDAY morning games against T.C. because those fucking savages couldn't remain civil during a Friday night affair. People think T.C. doesn't have permanent lights because of some sort of agreement with the surrounding neighborhood and not wanting to disturb them with klieg lights during night games but...that AIN'T the reason. There was a big hoo-hah about this last year when the HOA agreed to let them have one night game with temporary lights. The article in the Post didn't state specifics but, it's there if you read closely...
