I took a walk through Fairfax Corner. I thought I was in the Middle East.

It really is a different place than it once was.

Thats too bad. Except for the horrible parking situation I really like that place.

If the people were a bit more friendly instead of staring at you like you are an infidel, it would not be so bad.

They behave as if they have a sense of entitllemnt to the fountain.

A contributing factor might be that there were tons of people who wanted to avoid taking a shuttle bus to fairfax fair and so parked at fairfax corner.

I liked that they parked a couple of tow trucks at the entrances to give people the idea that they might be towed

At night after the stores officially close, sometimes they will open the stores at Tysons Galleria just so the rich middle eastern oil shieks and their royal families living in McLean or visiting those in McLean can go in to shop to their hearts content, unsullied by the wide - eyed amazement of the normal parade of infidels who would normally be shopping there in regular daylight store hours, as they clean out the store and pay with their chests full of gold (or these days, probably the bottomless credit card from their nearest Embassy). Then they load it all up on their planes on pallets (Saudia or other middle eastern airlines) to ship it back to the palaces at home.

What are they going to do when the oil runs out? (Tysons Galleria will have to go out of business)!

Youre right!! I was there and there were tons of women with their heads covered and men in robes! They claimed they were part of a Catholic Diocese but I knew they were just Muslims because we all know no other women cover their heads and no other men wear robes. Fox News told me. So from what this looks like tysons is becoming a Baileys crossroads PART 2! lol but yea I used to work at Macys in springfield and you will see lots of Arab womens flocking the kids section up with like a line 5 kids behind them and also the little one in the stroller but I didint think tysons was taken over wait till yaw get a load of Nasty Smelling African food once they hit tysons up 2!

I rarely go to Tysons anymore. One because of the traffic and the other is the nature of the crowds at the place.
