What happens when you get referrals?

So I've gotten two referrals this year and I think I just got another one today. Anyone know what happens when you get too many? My friend told me they just stay on your permanent record but I think there's probably some sort of punishment.

what if you got one referral? in 9th grade I got one (I'm now in 11th). I'm really worried colleges will see it :( but I'm hoping they don't cuz referrals dont seem like a big deal and I only have one

We need more detail. What was the incident that lead to the referral. Every time you get a referral it will stay on your record. They might give you AIA or After school AIA. it all depends on the school you go to and why you got written up.

Uh, well, I know a lot about referrals because I'm 17 years old and I'm in 10th grade at Muncie Central High School and Mrs. Nickels, the assistant who hates me and my friends keeps writing us up for no fucking reason. I swear that bitch should be dead. My dad'll hurt her.

The assistant lady I just mentioned is the reason my Dad's best friend, Mr. Alan Jones is no longer working there and my godfather, Mr. Alan Jones or as I call him Uncle Alan is the one who always told Mrs. Nickels to lay off everytime she would send me to the office crying. He'd automatically see the tears in my eyes and he would jump on that bitch, but not literally.

Oh, I know all about referrals. I'm a senior at Central High School in Muncie and I got them throughout 9th grade, 10th grade, and a little bit of my junior year.

Referrals will not be seen by any colleges. Your high school administration wants their graduates to get into the best colleges possible. It's a measure of their success as educators. Referrals are just a bullshit disciplinary tool. Suspensions? Now that will probably be on your academic record, but I can't say for sure.

No one fucking cares about high school. No one cares which high school you went to. No one cares what you did for extra curricular activities.
If you have good grades, and your parents have money, you'll get into college.
