Saturday night after 11 pm in a quiet house on Backlick Road in Springfield.

Someone calls police and tells them a wanted guy is hiding in the bedroom.

Guy has seven warrants, three felony counts for producing child pornography, another three for possessing or reproducing child pornography with an intent to distribute, and one misdemeanor warrant for consensual sexual intercourse with a minor.

Oh yeah, police tried to arrest him on Friday but he ran off.

Enter the police, lots of them, with doggie.

Suspect produces sword. Damn, it's a gun fight.

First with beanbags, then real bullets.

No trial will be needed.

Well we should thank the good officers of Fairfax County for saving the tax payers a life time of incarceration. Too bad they will be off on annual leave for a year when they mess around with an investigation.

It was probably not mom or dad who was hosting him in their home. The police are keeping his name private until next of kin are notified.

The police didn't know about the recent court decision that simply viewing kiddie porn is not against the law. Too late now.

The young man was Hispanic. Staying with friends in the apartment. Original charge was consensual sex with a minor, piled on with felonies because they took pictures. The cops kicked in the bedroom door to get him. Small room with a mattress. Two cops involved in the shooting. One fired the beanbags; the other fired his service weapon.

He was 22. She was 16 and her parents consented to the relationship. Looks like they punished him for escaping on Friday night. Cops also added charges of identity theft because he showed them a false id. Make him look really, really bad to justify the killing.

I was hoping it would have been GordonBlvd...that would have been FUNNY.

umm, more than just kiddie porn.
this guy had sex with a minor.
and he was threatening the lives of those trying to capture him.

i got pissed when I read the headline too, but once I read the story...I realized he was dumb enough to get himself killed anyways.

He probably wanted to die. when you are being pursued, and you are surrounded...you dont threaten people that have guns, LEOs or otherwise. unless you know you're going to die anyways.

Id say that felony production of Kiddie Porn is a worse offense morally offense than the secondary misdemeanor offense of consensual sex with a minor.

What are we talking about here is that a 22 year old sleeping with a 16 year old is not all that uncommon ad likely much closer to normal than many people would like to believe. The problem arises when you photograph said 16 year old. Opening she up to a possibility of life changing torment and torture if those pics ever hit the net.

Cops put out a press release early accusing the kid of being a sex/porn dirtbag. By the time people figured out the real story it was yesterday's news and died faster than Gray Combs himself.

It's going to take an uprising of his 900 Facebook friends to start a justice for Gray campaign.
