whenever I go to the DMV, it seems like 90% of the customers are foreigners.... or am I wrong?

whenever I go to the DMV, it seems like 90% of the customers are foreigners.... or am I wrong?

especially the Tyson Corner and Sterling branches...

(by "foreigners" I mean they actually barely speak understandable English)

You aren't wrong. It's unbelieveable. They can also take the knowledge test in their own language or with a "translator" which is unfathomable.

I used to live within walking distance of that Tysons DMV, and still live in the neighborhood. And I always wondered the same thing. It never bothered me at all, cuz I'm just sure there's a real reason why DMV's attract so many minorities like that. I could never figure it out.

I had a friend that worked for DMV.

First off, you know the foreign sumbitches can't drive, so many, many visits are required to get a license. She told me of one Korean woman that took the road test 29 times! They have since enacted limits on test-taking frequency, that may be helping.

Secondly, she told me they bring their entire extended family. So for every applicant, there may be 8 or 10 people in the office.
