can landlords call immigration, wait for illegal alien tenants to be deported, than take stuff they leave behind?

can landlords call immigration, wait for illegal alien tenants to be deported, than take stuff they leave behind? (assuming the illegal alien tenant doesn't have any friends or relatives to pick them up?)

alternatively, can an employer pull the same thing? hire an illegal for a couple
of weeks and call immigration just two days before payday?

A. Why would you do that? You'd just lose a renter. (income)
B. They usually have 27 other people living there, so if you deported the leesee, the others would take it

C. It would take more than 2 days to get ICE involved, so you would still have to illegally pay the worker. And you would get busted for hiring an illegal in the first place.

I think the guy is just seeking free labor. Is it illegal to hire day laborers? What does an average person pay one for a day of work?
