At least you are being consistent, wanting good stuff for less (or way less) than others pay.

Time to vote.

Believe this story?
Yes…
No…

I just received one vote for no. Any others?

I used the Patrick Anderson law firm, specifically George Wooditch. He had a ton of cases (I saw his case list) but he was generally conscientious and honest. I don't know what makes a good defense attorney . . . probably the relationship with the prosecutors is most important. So I would give a rec for him, but not saying he went above and beyond.

Is putting a wallet in your pocket a crime? "Officer, I was planning to find the owner!" Does anyone really expect a lost wallet to be returned?

Be serious. WC is for real criminals, like Jon Corzine.

A more expensive thief, LOL. These ones wear suits and expensive colognes, but they might as well be committing grand larceny, with their per hourly costs.

It's not clear to me what a defense attorney does. This is pretty much what my attorney did.

Att: The felony charge is ridiculous.
Pros: You're right. Plead to a misdemeanor and we've got a deal.
Att: I'll see if that works.

$3000 bucks for that. I could have done that. But then again, don't mess with felony charges. So like lots of other professionals - lobbyists also - you're paying for insurance and the hope that they know enough to avoid truly colossal mistakes.

Not sure if you're still looking for an attorney, but mine was awesome. His name is Kevin or something and I found him online at www.noorishadlaw.com.

Make sure you get the guy who owns he firm and not one of his dumbass associates. I had a grand larceny charge and he negotiated it down to a trespassing, which later got dismissed. His prices were reasonable considering what all these other lawyers in town are charging. He charged me $2,000 after I negotiated the price down with him.

Looking back, I wish I would have just bought the damn iPhone, it would have been a lot cheaper...but at least I walked away without anything on my record.

Good luck!

Ahh, the classic fishing done by the police: plant wallet, and watch what people do with it. You failed!

a. you're not smart enough to say the sentence your attorney said.
b. if you didn't have an attorney you would be meat and you would not get a deal. It's a club.

im calling bullshit on the op. the cops wouldnt arrest you for picking up a wallet. so either u took the and/or cards from the wallet and used them, or you stole the wallet. he is only telling us the story he plans on telling his attourney. whats ur name so i can show up to court to hear the truth, meaning what the cop is going to tell the judge what really happened.

Depends on what's in the wallet and how much its worth. Definitely calling BS on the OP though.
