Did the FCPS school system ever have high school bowling as a sport to try out for and have a legit team for? im talking about jv or varsity not like some small club.

Unless it's a VHSL recognized event... It isn't now, doubt it ever was.

bowling is more of a useless skill then a sport.

Does FCPS still send the bowling semi-truck around to all the elementry schools?

I remember that. I remember it being at our school for a week and each student only getting to play 1 frame. Beat.

Yeah, when your 8 years old a bowling alley inside of semi-truck was truely a world wonder. I can remember going to school on monday and getting exciting when seeing thing parked on the black top. Everyday that went by until it was our classes turn was frought with heart throbbing anticpication.

Alas, the day did come. After standing outside for 68 other 1st graders in the easrly June heat to bowl their frames , it was finally my turn to ascend those steps and play my one frame of blowing. 90 seconds and two gutter balls later conclude that bowling is an epic waste of time.

A bowling alley in school sure why not. I am surprised the way the county spends they dont have a polo field.

You do know that the school doesn't have to make/have bowling lanes right? There are places that would probably sponsor the school and they can practice there. Kids these days....
