I support this ban because when a child is tagged, that means they're "out". That is not fair to the kids. Besides, they were playing too rough. A game called "Prison House" tag.

Our children need to be protected, and sheltered, in order to prepare them for the real world where everything works out perfectly and every little dream, hope, and ambition can be accomplished with ease. They will never be "out" in real life, no matter what, and we must program this mentality at an early age.

They must learn and be conditioned to accept that America is not a competitive place. Us parents will always be there for them, no matter what. And we will always be there to protect them from any threats or harm.

I will not rest until my child is a certified wimp.

Indeed, we need to further restrict recess time because we need more time in the classroom to pass increasingly stringent academic testing and we don't get funding otherwise. Plus recess leads to exercise and bullying and bullying doesn't exist in the real world.

FCPS pays these principals over $120k-how hard can it be?

These schools usually have 10 assistant principals also.

These kids are going to be playing tackle football in high school in a few years-what are we afraid of?

These elementary schools get 1-3 asst principals. Staff should be supervising recess in shifts but I guess Hooker thinks she's too important for that. Kent Gardens is one of Jane Strauss' pet schools. It's in a nice neighborhood and she gives it all sorts of extra funding. Hooker was the subject of an audit report and FCPS never did anything about it to my knowledge.

If you wonder where your tax dollars are going down a garbage disposal of pork that's a school to audit. Rather than some schools getting lots of funding NOT ON DEMOGRAPHICS I'd prefer sharing the wealth equitably. Strauss and Hooker . What a dynamic duo.

My philosophy is each kid gets the full sandwich before anybody else gets 2.
