I lost some money on ebay over some jerk off that rippe bunch of people and got banned. What I thought I was buying is an ipod shuffle but got one of those knock of chinese mp3 players. I paid about $50. Should I even do anything? or just forget it ever happened. He/ she got away with ripping couple of hundred people off this way and I got chance to get in touch w a fer of them. Should anything be done?

Yea I guess, the guy must have gotten away with about $15000 by doing this and most people probably won't even do anything about it. Oh well

Well you could always file a complaint with eBay that you were sent the wrong product and maybe MAYBE get something out of it. Otherwise, this will just have to be a learning experience. In the future, check the seller's rating before purchasing anything, generally if they screwed somebody, that somebody will let the whole world know.

if you paid with paypal, put in a dispute claim and they will refund your money. if you didnt protect yourself from fraud, you are a dumbass.

I am sorry to inform you but filing a complaint with paypal wont do jack shit for you. I was in the similar position and filed a complaint with paypal. Paypal said that since they have provided them with a tracking code there is nothing they could do and they told me to contact the buyer. I guess unless the seller hasnt provided paypal with a tracking code they wont do anything. Besides its $50 and you got something , why do you expect paypal to do if thats how you paid, If paid by check or money order you are a dumbass
