Dan Allen is a bully, straight and simple. He is abusive to the little girls he coaches and dismissive of the parents of those girls. He is also a terrible coach -- yanking players after a single mistake, and playing his own kids even when they make multiple mistakes. He's a bore who only talks to people when he needs your money. Steer clear of him. A rotten man, a crappy coach.

Dan Allen is just a guy who likes quality fish and chips at a good price. Which he can clearly get at the nearest Arthur Treacher's.

My daughter was the junior at Mt. Vernon referred to. Thanks to Dan Allen's coaching, and the college exposure tournaments he was able to arrange for his teams, she had many college offers. She went on and played 4 years of college basketball, played in 3 NCAA Sweet 16's, and one Final 4. Named All-Conference, All State, All Region and All American in various points during her college career. If your daughter wants to play at a highly competitive level, consider Dan Allen as her coach. If you want to have your daughter fill her room with "participation trophies", look elsewhere.
