ARLINGTON, Va. (WMAR) - A drunken St. Patrick's Day fight between friends left one man with only half a finger and landed two in jail.
At about 2:00 a.m., on St. Patrick's Day two men and two ladies were out celebrating at a local Arlington bar, when the ladies decided they had enough and decided to go home.
The two men, Rudy Sales Perez and Jose Lopez Sales decided to move their party into the parking lot, but began to argue, said Arlington County police spokesperson Dustin Sternbeck.
The argument escalated and the two began to physically fight. At some point during the altercation another man, the victim, stepped out of a van and joined the fight.
The fight ended when one of the men bit the victim's finger off from the first knuckle.
Sternbeck says the severed finger was found in the parking lot, but doctors were unable to reattach it.
Both Perez and Sales were charged with malicious wounding by a mob and are still being held without bond.
