Nationals Opener

I don't like Bush. I think he is a horrible President. But the booing at the Nationals Home Opener was incredibly disrespectful. Dislike the man, but don't disrespect the position in a ceremonial situation like this...




Believe me. I'm sure Bush knows most Americans don't like him without this kind of thing happening.

They had Bush up in the booth for a few innings with the announcers. It was quite awkward, he seemed really uncomfortable at times.

The new stadium looks great BTW. That was a heckuva game last night.

It's noticeably different than it was 2-3 years ago. But it's still in the process of gentrification, and some nearby parts are still gritty. In less than five years, I predict that neighborhood will look all bright and clean like Chinatown.

security did a great job for the amount of people to get in. my wait was just about 20 minutes. i got off the train at 720 and wasin the stadium by 10 of eight. it was worse saturday night with less people.

Personally I think our elected officials are too isolated from the real world. They need to hear for themselves what we think of them. Bush should be boo'd at every occasion..he has blood on his hands.
