Just curious if anyone knows what's going on. Seeing tons of cops right at the intersection on my way home. All of them on flashing lights but not seeing any actual activity or pulled over cars or anything else.

Anyone got a clue on this one?

Any traffic cameras at that intersection? Are those cameras open to public viewing like the ones on highways?

Robbery occurred at one of the homes on Roberts rd.A house party was going on when two black males came through an unlocked door armed with a handgun and stole a laptop. Short while later they were apprehended after a quick perimeter was established by FCPD's finest. That handgun turned out to be a bb gun, and one the the two black males had priors of Robbery and abduction. They were also in possession of handcuffs.

A Krispy Kreme truck was to pass through that intersection around that time and they were there to make sure nothing happened.

Big misunderstanding. This is part of Obama's wealth redistribution plan, which media polls indicate that 65% of Americans approve of.

WTOP: "Fairfax County Police deployed a K9 dog and a helicopter to find the suspects but made no arrests."

Hhhmmmm ... which one should I believe?
on another note, why are we paying to have a helicopter in the air 24/7? We pay 40% for police services than any other VA jurisdiction and for what? It's a nice make-work program, but not good for much else.

GMU kids are pussies. Man up. Protect yourself before you wreck yourself. Check yourself before you lick yourself.

Just relaying the chatter i picked up over dispatch, from start to finish. Maybe they weren't in possession of stolen property, so they were let go. I don't know. We'll be sure when the weekly incidents reports are put online.
