Do I need to notify DMV after completing Driver Improvement Clinic?

I was 18 at the time I sped 1-9 mph, and had to complete a driver improvement clinic. Otherwise, my license would've been suspended. I did just that and received a certificate. Now, I'm not sure whether I need to notify DMV in any way. Anyone know?

If you took the couse from an approved DMV company, the company will automatically notify the DMV.
