black birds/crows

A few minutes ago it seemed like thousands of black birds or crows came rushing towards my house to land in the trees around my house, is this an omen or something? In Virginia are crows or black birds indiginous?

anybody remember the big black birds that use to congregate around the water wheeel house at Evans Farm Inn in the early spring. Not crows too big maybe turkey vultures but always thought they were to black for turkey vultures

I keep seeing these creepy-ass turkey buzzards on the way home from work, devouring a deer carcass en masse. These things are BIG.

Hundreds of black colored birds all over my eight acres. Amazing to see. I have lived here five years and this is a new for me. Any bird experts on here?

Clifton- Yes same group of black birds, (I live in Clifton), they came as a huge group, landing in my trees, then moving on, I don't know what kind of birds they are, it was amazing and somewhat frightening.
