Geno's Law Firm

Received a mailing (adv) from Geno's Law Firm indicating the he "noticed" I might need a lawyer. Then proceeded to talk about how to defend against license being revoked.

I have not had any tickets in quite a while and was somewhat surprised to get this. Question: Has anyone else received a mailing like this?

They're also famous for their NY style pizza and garlic breadsticks.

You received the notice because the attorney probably saw your name on the arrest/citation list published by the court. If you haven't had any citations, you probably don't have anything to worry about, and the attorney likely made a typo on a mailing label. Usually, you'll receive multiple mailings from different firms because tons of attorneys work arrest lists. If you're in doubt, give them a call and ask how they learned about you.

we received one, too. I've never been arrested, and I haven't had a ticket or moving violation, etc. since 1991. We live in Virginia, but last October my husband received a ticket in Maryland, for not pulling over one lane while passing a police car on the side of the road. At first I thought "Geno" got my name from the payment for the ticket, but then I remembered we paid for the ticket online, and it was in my husband's name. So why only my name on this stupid marketing letter? Sleazy marketing technique, if you ask me. If only for that reason alone, even if I needed a lawyer, I'd never hire them.

I thought it was illegal for lawers to solicit?
