plasma donation in ffx county

Donation is kind of a misnomer since it's not really a donation if you're getting paid for it.

I'm looking to supplement my income and help people out by, well, selling plasma. Wondering if anyone had any experiences with this in the area. There's a blood donation place off Prosperity Ave in Fairfax but I'm not sure if they give money for plasma or what.

I'm a healthy, drug free, young male so I doubt I'd have any problems passing a physical or anything. Just looking to make some easy extra money.

And no I won't donate sperm, one of me is enough.

I've actually wondered about this many years ago and every time I called around the answer was always the same; "Sorry, we do not pay for donation of blood or plasma."

Now it's entirely possible that things have finally changed and that they have started to pay for plasma but I think you're going to find it somewhat difficult to find a place like this.

If you do manage to find someplace that pays for plasma then please post here as I'd be quite interested myself.

Donating plasma is seriously painful. Don't do it. If you're a guy donate your sperm if you qualify..feels soooo much better..trust me!

Inova takes only volunteers. I used to give blood at their Merrifield donor center. The plasma donation takes several hours.

Any idea if they pay for blood or plasma?

Volunteers don't get paid


@OP a donation doesn't get you any money
