Did you mean to make two posts? What does good establishments closing have to do with Sully's?

Didn't they just go through a big remodeling? The place doesn't look like the mid 1980's anymore which I think was mistake.
Chased away the old staff
Not enough rock bands around anymore for a rock club to book

still only bar I've been in that I actually heard a fellow bar patron do extensive quotations of Shakespeare

Huh?!?!?!?!? This is news to me that Sully's is closing. Damn, if that happens I guess my biker buddies and myself will have to find a new place to hang AND IT AIN'T GOING TO BE AT THAT BAR WHERE WNC HANGS

I highly recommend avoiding Kilroys of Springfield, VA, altogether. I suggest you stick with your own group/club.

Kilroys, since 2003; has been the head-quarters of WNC. www.wncrew.org...explains it all.

WNC's a family of bikers. From what I've read, their passion is riding motorcycles, helping people during local charity events/poker runs and partying.

is that really you gordon blvd. after all these months? I still think all those traffic cameras on Braddock by GMU is overkill

anyways if Sully's is really closing? no mention on their website nor facebook page and have a gig scheduled with that famous d.c. area rock and roll band of yesteryear The Cherry People(with Michael Fath on guitar) on St. Paddy's Day

there's the old bikers hangout in Fairfax City John's Place on rt. 29 in Kamp Washington

Stoppped by Sullys last night shortly before 11 p.m. for a beer and see if the

place was really closing. Parking lot was empty and Sullys already closed

even though it was Fat Tuesday. Thought I'd look at notices on the wall for

bands playing in March. Suddenly through some french doors inside this somewhat

rough hewn waitress loudly announces the place was closed. I

hadn't even tried the door cause the place was a ghost town but she

emphasized to me that the place was closed by vigorously shaking the locked

front doors.

I guess business is really bad. Looked like the dude who owns joint spent small

fortune remodeling the place. Should have spent the money getting some good

bands instead imo.

Still don't know if place is closing in March but don't look good too me.

Shutting down before 11 p.m. with a trailer park right behind the place.

Everybody get old and/or burned out.
