Where was Elliot this morning?

I dont care for any morning shows at the moment, but Id rather listen to talk on my drive. I flip between Howard and Elliot. But there was no Elliot this morning. Was he finally canned? (at least not between 7 and 8:30)

I flip around too, but if I remember correctly, he was intermittently pulled off the air for bashing Clearchannel. The station was supposed to have their annual ShantyTown event at Nissan Pavilion, but Nissan cancelled with less than a week until showtime. ShantyTown had to be scrapped. Elliot was bashing the people at Nissan. Clearchannel owns Nissan (as well as DC101), and they didn't want to hear Elliot’s bitching.

Radio sucks now, get XM. Ever since HFS left, DC101 has pretty much assumed everyone will now only listen to them and now they play crap. They just play rock from the 80's now. I would hope they can play new music at least 2 in a row, but they don't.

I wish DC101 would stop playing "feel good inc" every freakin time I turn on the radio that song plays. I mean I used to like it, but now its just annoying since they've played it so much.

Elliots okay, but I wish they would just play music instead of talk.

What is going to be intolerable is the Junkies on WJFK when Howard leaves. I tried listening to them today. They were talking about some small conference college football team. Who the hell wants to listen to that? Just wondering if WJFK GM Michael Hughes will lose his job when the Junkies are pulled off the air this Summer. Of course, it will be nothing compared to the huge crash and burn David Lee Roth is about to undertake in NY and Philly. Too bad I won't be able to hear the train wreck from here.

Most major infinity shows are webcast at "radiomat.com", so you probably CAN hear DL Roth derail like an Indian passenger train.

My mom won't buy me one because she says its a waste of money and she won't let me get a job because my room isn't clean.
