Freshman F-up day?

I'm looking for info on this if anyone can indulge me. One of my clients today mentioned it to me, and I need to know how much of her stories are based on reality and how much are not. I found a couple mentions online, but no facts on what happens for this "holiday." What little she told me was rather intense but very brief. She mentioned that the past year was particularly bad. Any help in sorting the truth and the nature of this would be appreciated, thank you.

This is just like Freshman B-job day. Something conjured up and touted via word-of-mouth, but never actually materializes.
