Can anyone suggest the name of a very reasonably priced lawyer for a possession of marijuana charge?

Everyone gets the same result lawyer or not. so dont waste ur money. Something like disposition 251 or something, not a big deal.

Does a person qualify for a 251 disposition if they have previously been convicted of a possession of marijuana or possession of paraphennellia?

Another option is to work with Fairfax County Police and provide them with information on drug dealers or other criminals in exchange for a lower sentence or to potentially have the charge reduced to paraphennellia or in some cases dismissed.

Usually not. Disposition .251 is for first time drug offenders. Consult an attorney.

This probably won't work.. They want "actionable information" on more than a few people. You can't be like "well this kid I know thinks his neighbor sells crack." Nor do they care about the 17 year old who sold you that half g.

Also they have you by the balls for a year. And after all that they still might say you didn't do enough to help them and end up being a convicted criminal.

P.S. All your friends will figure out ur a snitch and well, that isn't fun.

The magic number is usually five(5) in order to "ride off into the sunset".
thats five peoples lives (potentially)ruined because you decided to be a narc and couldnt get through 6 months of probation.
think long and hard about doing something like that, because if the cop decides your info wasnt good enough or didnt get the results he had in mind, then you'll be charged regardless. Anyways, the word "narc" isnt a tag that tends to go away over time. Just hire a god damn lawyer son.

So a lawyer won't be able to reduce it to paraphenelia? That's actually what happened, I had a pipe on me, but got charged with possession.

was there any residue in it? If not, you could argue it was for tobacco use. I'd at least get a free consultation with a lawyer to discuss it.

If they were fine before getting snitched on, and then their life was ruined after, then logically it would be the snitching that "ruined" their respective lives.

I was arrested for PWID in Fairfax County and the arresting officer told me he wanted me to help him with information on other drug dealers. I'm hoping to get a reduced sentence in exchange for help.

Either look online or wait for the lawyers to start sending you letters. Make a few calls and talk to several lawyers. Most offer free consultations. You can figure pretty quickly who's good and who's not. Getting it reduced may be possible with the right facts and the right lawyer.

First of all, don't be a snitch. You fucked up and got caught. The people you will snitch on didn't fuck up. Let them fuck up and they'll get caught eventually, all on their own.

Second, once you've been charged, it's too late to do any snitching. You do that shit before they file charges and book you into jail. Once you've been in jail for a drug charge, it's no good for you or the cops because all of your friends can find out that you've been charged, and the smart ones will steer clear of you.

Search the arrest/ticket search on here. If you can find your name with a drug charge, so can your friends.
